What we commit to, in writing.
Six standards. They are here so you can hold us to them, and so you know what to tell a patient when you refer.
Routine private patients are seen within one to two weeks.
Clinic capacity is held for new referrals rather than filled months ahead. If that window can’t be met for a particular patient, the rooms tell you when you refer — not after.
Every referral is acknowledged the same day.
You get confirmation that it arrived and who is handling it, on the business day it reaches us, through whichever channel you used.
Letters come back within 48 hours of the consultation.
Dictated the same day where possible. If a letter is going to be late because we’re waiting on a result, you are told that rather than left waiting.
Every patient is seen by Dr Yas personally.
Consultation, operation and follow-up. Your patient does not meet a registrar in place of the surgeon, and does not find out on the day that someone else is operating.
Urgent matters can reach Dr Yas directly, any time.
Verified GPs hold his direct number for call or SMS. If he is operating when you make contact, you get a callback the same day.
We stand behind our work.
If something isn’t right after surgery, the patient comes back to us and it is dealt with — not passed back to you to manage or referred on elsewhere.
The sixth standard, in your phone
Verified GPs receive Dr Yas’s direct number by text and can call or SMS any time about a patient.
